October is the tenth month of the Gregorian. Its name is derived from the Latin word Octo which means eight—this is because October used to be the eighth month in older calendars. While September is the official beginning of Fall in the Northern Hemisphere, October is when the season really start to flourish and show its true colors.

2. Scorpio ♏ Zodiac Sign (October 23 – November 21) – The Scorpion

Toward the end of October, the rule of Libra is over and the reign of Scorpio begins. For it rules over less than 1/3 of October, Scorpio is considered the Minor October Sign.
